Our school prayer to Saint Michael
St Michael – Our Patron Saint
St Michael the Archangel is the patron and protector of our school. His name means “Who is like God?” — a reminder that we are called to live with humility, courage, and trust in God’s guidance.
In Scripture, St Michael is known as a strong defender of goodness. He stands for truth, justice, and the triumph of light over darkness. As the leader of the heavenly hosts, he inspires us to be brave, to stand up for what is right, and to use our gifts to make the world a better place.
At St Michael’s, we try to follow his example in our daily lives:
Courage – being brave when things are difficult
Faith – trusting in God and growing in our relationship with Him
Service – helping others with kindness and compassion
Hope – believing that goodness always has the final word
St Michael’s presence in our school reminds us that we are never alone. His protection and guidance encourage our pupils to flourish academically, spiritually, and personally. We celebrate his feast day with joy, prayer, and community, giving thanks for the values he inspires in us.
