The St Michael's Missionaries Group works with the school community, the local community and the wider world community to explore the words of Jesus as shared by the Gospel Writers and the Acts of the Apostles. The group aims to share the word of God but also promote Christian actions for example sharing with the poor, or helping those who are lost or in spiritual need.
In Autumn term the group created a Christmas Card for each class which aimed to support the school community as it works to reduce the amount of litter and waste but also helped to support families as they tried to reduce the cost of living. The cards were religious in nature and reflected the greatness of Christ's birth.
In Spring term, and linked with The Jubilee Year, the children are creating cards that aim to reach out to members of the community who are isolated or alone.
