I hope you have all had a fantastic Christmas break.
We will begin the Spring term with our new theme 'Amazing Africa'. Throughout this, we will be taking a closer look at South Africa, their history and comparing our city of Newport to that of Johannesburg. We will also be looking at animals native to Africa, food chains, life cycles and the difference in climates. Towards the end of our topic, we will be diving into research about cocoa beans and how it becomes chocolate!
Our P.E day is on Wednesday, so please make sure your child's P.E kit is in school.
You will be invited to join us for lots of events this term so please make sure you are able to access the growing together calendar which you will find attached below.
Please also check Seesaw on a regular basis to see all of the amazing things your child has been up to in school - we are always very busy learning!
