                                                         Welcome to Year 1 

 

 

Welcome to our Year 1 class-Dosbarth Oren!

For the first two weeks we will be focusing on a well-being theme as we all get to know each other and settle into Year 1.

 

Our theme this term is 'All Creatures Great and Small'. We will be thinking about different animals, how to look after them and also how they might help us too. Our theme is literacy based and we will be learning through a range of books. Our first shared book focus will be 'Jacob O'Reilly Wants a Pet' by Lynne Richards.

 

Our RE themes this term are Creation and Covenant.

2025 is also the Catholic Jubilee Year, and is themed 'Pilgrims of Hope'.
